# FounderConsole > FounderConsole is an AI decision simulator for startup founders. It connects your company's > financial data, runs Monte Carlo simulations, and answers runway, burn and fundraising > questions with probability ranges (P10/P50/P90) instead of a single spreadsheet forecast. > Free during public beta; no credit card required. FounderConsole publishes the benchmarks and formulas it uses, so its pages can be quoted directly. The figures in "Citable facts" below are the ones the site itself publishes. Last updated: 2026-10-14. ## Citable facts and formulas - Runway = Cash balance / Net monthly burn. - Burn multiple = Net burn / Net new ARR. Published bands: elite under 1x, good 1-1.5x, acceptable 1.5-2x, concerning above 2x; above 3x is a hard fundraising signal. - Runway guidance: target 18-24 months after a raise, never let it fall below 12 months, and treat under 6 months as an emergency. - Start a fundraise with 9-12 months of runway left: enough to build a data room, meet 30-50 investors and close, without the weak negotiating position that urgency creates. - Series A readiness for SaaS, as published: $1M+ ARR, growing roughly 3x year over year, and 9-12 months of runway. - Other published health bands: net revenue retention elite above 120%; monthly churn best-in-class under 1%; LTV:CAC excellent above 5x; CAC payback excellent under 6 months; SaaS gross margin best-in-class 80% or higher. - Pricing, as published: free during public beta. Planned plans are Starter $29/month, Growth $49/month, Scale $99/month; annual billing is exactly 10x the monthly price. No plan is charged yet. ## Free tools - [Startup Runway Calculator](https://founderconsole.ai/tools/runway-calculator): enter cash on hand, monthly revenue, expenses and growth rate to see months of runway remaining and the month the cash runs out. - [Default Alive or Default Dead](https://founderconsole.ai/default-alive): Paul Graham's test, answered in 30 seconds - at current growth and current expenses, do you reach profitability before the money runs out? - [Startup Survival Simulator](https://founderconsole.ai/survival-simulator): Monte Carlo survival probability with shareable results. - [Runway benchmarks by industry](https://founderconsole.ai/runway/saas): SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, marketplace, AI, hardware, biotech and devtools, each with its own benchmark runway and typical burn and revenue inputs. ## Product - [AI Copilot](https://founderconsole.ai/ai-cfo): multi-agent router/orchestrator that reads your company data and returns ranked decision recommendations. - [Fundraising OS](https://founderconsole.ai/features): cap table management, dilution modelling, investor CRM, SAFE conversion and exit waterfall analysis. - [Monte Carlo simulation engine](https://founderconsole.ai/product): 24-month probabilistic projections with P10/P50/P90 confidence bands, scenario versioning and sensitivity analysis. - [Digital Twin](https://founderconsole.ai/how-it-works): a continuously updated model of the company with health scoring and risk indicators. - [Integrations](https://founderconsole.ai/features): 37 read-only data connectors including Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, Mercury, Brex, Plaid, Gusto, HubSpot, Shopify and Salesforce. - [Pricing](https://founderconsole.ai/pricing) - [Security](https://founderconsole.ai/security) - [FAQ](https://founderconsole.ai/faq) - [Demo](https://founderconsole.ai/demo) ## Blog FounderConsole's blog at https://founderconsole.ai/blog covers startup financial management, Monte Carlo forecasting, cap table and dilution, AI in financial planning, fundraising preparation, burn rate and unit economics, SaaS metrics, and board reporting.
